Our Whippany NJ client is seeking skilled Family Law Associate.

Responsibilities:

Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and other legal proceedings
Draft legal documents, including petition, motions, etc.
Conduct legal research and analysis to provide accurate and timely advice to clients
Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients
Maintain client confidentiality and uphold professional ethics and standards
Taking care of the client's case from beginning to end without instruction
Conduct meetings with potential and existing clients to develop case strategies.
Prepare for and attend court appearances.
Draft correspondence and legal documents.
Be prepared to travel to neighboring counties if necessary.
Assign tasks to paralegals and legal assistants and oversee their work.

Qualifications:

A qualified attorney licensed to practice in the state of New Jersey.
5+ years experience
Strong oral and written advocacy skills
Strong communication, research, and writing skills are a must-have.
Willingness to work diligently to ensure top-notch client service and results is required.
A positive and uplifting attitude is highly valued.
Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask are critical.
Willingness to go the extra mile to ensure tasks are completed accurately on the first attempt is expected.
Ability to work effectively in a team setting and promote a collaborative environment.
A polite, educated, and comforting communication style with clients is essential.

Compensation: Salary to 165k commensurate with experience, Bonus, Benefits, 401(k).
